A bilingual book (NL/EN) project designed to make queer history more visible and accessible. Focused on the 1969 Stonewall Riots and the people who sparked a global movement.
Update April 2025:
Currently reworking the book to a new iPhone-sized format, so it’s even more accessible on the go & when travelling. Fill your bored & dead moments with a queer history lesson.
The Stonewall Riot weren’t in our textbooks, but it shaped our rights, our visibility, and the way we move through the world today.
This book is my way of making that story visible—tangible, accessible, and unapologetically ours.
It also features photography by Fred W. McDarrah, one of the few who documented the queer resistance as it unfolded.
